Contracting Process Simplified / Efficient Forms Contracting Solution / Kaplan Financial
For your information - Contracting Process Simplified is the licensing/contracting applet on the CPS website, supplied to CPS by a company called Efficient Forms. Please be aware, Efficient Forms LLC entered into an arrangement with a company called Kaplan Financial. Required by law to do so, Kaplan Financial has emailed a copy of its Privacy Policy to each producer who has completed the applet registration process. If you received the email, no action is required on your part - the email was simply notification of the modified arrangement, and a copy of Kaplan Financial's Privacy Policy.

Save time and money! Get contracted faster and easier! Now available to you is CPS’ on-line contracting program, which we like to refer to as Contracting Process Simplified (CPS).

If you are not already registered to use Contracting Process Simplified, please read the following summary of the process:

A one-time only interview process allows us to collect all of the basic information required by the carriers. This secured information is then used to automatically populate the forms required by any and all of the carriers you wish to be contracted with immediately, and in the future. Here’s how it works:

The agent registration page requires you to create a UserID, Password and PIN. You will get a confirmation email to the address you provided verifying your UserID, Password and PIN for future use.
Make sure you have available the following: your E&O policy information; driver’s license information, previous address; employment history; carrier affiliations; license information; and direct deposit banking information. You will be asked a series of questions regarding your personal and address information, business/corporate information, legal history, direct deposit information and carrier specific questions.
After answering all contracting questions, you will be directed to the carrier submission page. Make sure you checkmark the carriers you would like to submit for approval at this time. You will be prompted to enter your PIN for identity verification.
You must then print the fax coversheets provided on the next page to submit your required documents. Detailed instructions are provided at this step of the online questionnaire, as well as on the coversheets.
Upon acceptance of your request to be contracted, you will receive an email stating that we have received your documents and begin processing your contracts. If any additional information is required, we will contact you.
Those of you who have some commissions paid to a corporation and other commissions paid to an individual (self) will need to register twice – once for each entity.
This process is to be used only for carriers you are not yet contracted with - you do not need to complete the process for carriers you are already contracted with.
