THOMAS L. VIRKLER, JD CLU
Tom is the Vice President of Advanced Marketing for CPS Insurance Services. For over twenty-five years he has specialized in the areas of estate, business continuation and non-qualified benefit planning, as well as in matters of life insurance, long-term care insurance and annuity taxation.

He has written articles for the Journal of Financial Service Professionals (formerly the Journal of the American Society of CLU/ChFC,), Life Insurance Selling and Broker World. He has been a guest speaker for the Million Dollar Round Table. He has conducted hundreds of advanced marketing seminars across the United States for life insurance agents and other professionals involved in the insurance planning process.

Tom received his B.A. from the State University of New York. His law degree is from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the North Atlanta Society of Financial Service Professionals.

After leaving legal practice, Tom spent six years in the field office of a major mutual carrier assisting agents in the design and sale of advanced cases. He has been the Director of Advanced Marketing for Liberty Life Insurance Company, Greenville, SC, and was then the Vice President of Advanced Marketing at First Colony Life Insurance, Lynchburg, VA. Since then he has worked in the full-service brokerage general life agency marketplace.
